I bought a 1998 Cherokee XJ with standard equipped keyless entry but did not get the remotes. i was wondering if I could swap the circuit board by the dome light with an aftermarket circuit board.
Thanks,
Sam

youre better off buying a keyless entry or remote start with keyless entry, then wire it up. easy vehicle to work on

Or go to a Chrysler dealer for the remotes except the aftermarket KE will probably be cheaper.
Have you tried a wreckers yard? Except you're unlikely to get two remotes.

Look at my signature lines.
Actually extremely unlikely probably a mux (resistive) single GREEN / WHITE control wire, the resistors would be built into the OEM unit, you would have to add them.
