I purchased a bulldog remote starter kit rs1200. according to the bulldog security website it states that for the #2 starter wire i need a bypass module PKUMUX or some others ones. I purchased the PKUMUX. then i was reading under the accessory wire that the #2 starter and the blower/heater is a one wire system. for the blower/heater to work you would need to use a DB-ALL or XK09. My question is will the PKUMUX module work for the blower or do i need both modules(PKUMUX AND DB-ALL). I hope i didnt confuse anyone but I tryed to keep it short and simple. I have a 2006 dodge ram 1500. any information would be greatly appreciated

pkumux will do both. the starter/igniton wires are multiplex. multiplex just means one wire, with multiple functions controlled by resistance. you can also achieve this using resisters, but the pkumux should handle all of that for you.

as long as you test with a DMM (miltimeter or computer safe test light) you should have no issues.
i just did one of these last week so the vehicle is half lingering in my head. If you have any issues or need to know a location of a wire shoot me a pm, or post here on the forums.
