Hi I have just installed a compustar cm4200 on my 1993 Buick regal gransport 3.8 liter i have hooked everything up i have went back over everything a few times i have tried to hook it up to the tac wire its a purple and white wire on the ignition tried hooking it up to the injector and even tried to hook it up to the altenator and the hood pin works the car will just crank with the remote starter and will start fine with the key really irritating any help would be appriciated thanks

Does the ignition key have a resistor pellet in the metal portion of the key? If so, you need to interface with it.

what wire did you connect it to on the injector? The injectors will all have one common wire between them and one odd wire. You need to connect to the odd colored wire of any injector. And also what Sparky said.

No the key does not have a resistor pill in it tried it on the common wire because that was the one that had the most fluctuation in voltage testing the wires

Change it to one of the uncommon wires and program the tach. It shouldn't have programmed originally with the common wire.

I did try that and it wouldnt work it would just blink saying no tach input

You tried it with the uncommon wire? The uncommon wire should program with tach... How many wires are at the injector, 2 or 3?
