I put the viper 5701 in my friends 2010 f150 using the db-all bypass. Everything worked great for about a month. He got a call from Ford saying his vehicle health report through the sync technology was not working. He took it in and Ford charged him to diagnose the problem. They said that the bypass was the culprit and unhooked two wires. I believe it was data wire and one other wire. I told him that that was bull and that the bypass was probably not the culprit. Do a search on the net for Ford vehicle sync health report and you will see what I mean. Anyone ever have this issue with a bypass on a newer ford with Sync?

Our shop uses idatalink ADS modules and I have used them on hundreds of new fords without an issue. Dealers pull stuff like this all the time. Usually when we have a customer go to the dealer for something related like this, we will disconnect the unit so they actually have to use there brains instead of blaming it on a aftermarket install. Stuff like this irritates me.posted_image
