2012 honda accord alarm

Looking for advice on which 2way alarm/remote start to install on 2012 accord. Considering Compustar ft6000as with ss remotes or crime guard 830i7. Also, I haven't installed in quite a few years and have questions about omega blade/ idata products. What will be gained by their use? Once vehicle is remote started don't wires for trunk pop and door locks need to be hooked up anyway. I was hoping these type of modules would eliminate several terminations. Can most wires be terminated at a security module that I believe to be under passenger seat or do wires like door lock and unlock need to go to drivers door? Also, which wire is for rear defrost and window roll up. Is a relay required for the defrost. Thanks in advance for any info

compustar pro with a blade-al makes for an easy install.

the blade-al will handle locks, triggers, disarm, trunk release, hood pin, tach, etc. you will need to connect a positive trunk release wire form the compustar to the car to pop when the vehicle is running. no need to run door locks as they still work when remote started.

defrost is straight ground latched 8min

for window roll up/down you need to go into the driver door. go to downloads and search up 08+ accord start.

there is a tutorial there and its the same up to 2012 that i did.

I second what tedmond says. You can verify it by reading over the installation guide.

The data module on that car will not only keep you from going into the door, but also save a handful of connections (tach, brake, door, hood, trunk) inside the car as well.
