Hi guys, have a friend that gave me a 2 way prostart and a pk-all from express kits to put in his 2000 ford Taurus. problem is he only has 1 key for the vehicle. He then to ford and they said they could program an additional key for $ 250.  I then talked to my own remote start supplier who then said that you can now go to a locksmith that can possibly CLONE the original key for 40 to 60 dollars.  I just wanted to make sure by doing it that way i am assuming you would then have to go to the relay and loop around the ignition barrel. Can someone just verify or correct me when I am assumming a CLONED key as apposed to a additional key will not satisfy the proggraming of the PK-All bypass module.

 Thank you in advance

Clone key works fine, try to use dei 555 or 556 put the original key inside this box . Homedepot can clone this key cheaper.

you wont be able to program that pkall with one key. you need 2 original keys. clones or duplicates do not work for bypass programming, unless it is original from the dealer (ford key, not stantec)

the best method is buy an idatalink ads-al-ca from a local ship, have the module flashed for klon. do the first programming yourself, bring it back for them to finish the programming. no wasted key.
