i just installed a responder one remote start with A DB-ALL in a 2011 Hyundai Sonata with smart key, everything works great except one issue.
When I shutdown the car from the remote or it times out (12minute run time finishes) the drivers side door unlocks. This is fine if doing it from the remote, just hit the lock button, but not if the vehicle times out. Kind of a security problem just having the car sit there with the door unlocked.
Am I missing something here?

It sounds like the GREEN / WHITE re-arm wire from the Responder One may have been connected to the Driver Priority unlock wire. The re-arm wire sends a negative pulse 3 seconds after the remote starter shuts down (regardless of shutdown method).
On Smart Key vehicles -
To unlock the driver door only, use yellow/orange (-) at the dash fuse box, rear, white 24 pin plug (F), pin 10.
Then DB-ALL doesn't have any options that would unlock the doors, and much less just the driver's door.
If you disconnect that re-arm wire from the yellow/orange wire, your locks will still work (and other functions too) without compromising security of your vehicle after the remote starter shuts off.

The GREEN/ white rearm wire is not connected to anything currently.
Spoke with directed tech support they seem to think the remote start is shutting down while the system is still overridden by the dball, thus as will happen with the fob in the car the driver door auto unlocks to keep from locking the key FOB in the car.
They recommend attaching the green white rearm to pin 13 white wire on the 24 pin plug.
This apparently will re lock the doors after the door momentarily unlocks after shutdown, still not 100% secure but I guess better then where I stand now.

Have had some that work, but it seems like they are hit or miss. I installed DEI products for years and it seems like they have more bugs than anything. Sometimes it feels like they're using us as guinea pigs.
I use idatalink bypasses. Compustar and Crimestopper for units. I would never switch back even if they were cheaper. Way less b.s. and headaches.
