I would like to install an ignition kill switch on my 2000 chevrolet tahoe. I've installed many on distributor type motors but this 5.3 motor is another story. Where would be the best/easiest place to wire in the switch for the ignition cut-off  or would would it be better to wire in to the fuel pump circut to disable that.  Thank you.

i would do the ign. wire. if the system fails, you can start the truck. if you go the other way and it fails and you happen to be pulling out in traffic, you could BOOM! and have an accident.

you can buy just the starter disable for a few bucks. they have some that use a type of key that you insert in order to start the truck. it even has a red light on it.
