any dei/compustar wired input for disarm?

Does anyone know if any DEI or Compustar alarm/remote start combos have an option for arming / disarming through a wired input? Nothing in the near future, but I would like to eventually install one of the Advanced Keys 104B setups in my STI and would like to have the option of having the aftermarket alarm arm/disarm by the advanced keys as well as by remote. That way it would automatically arm when I left the car and disarm when I got close to it (with the RFID card in my pocket)... but also have the option of arming / disarming from a distance when needed. Right now I have the Python 991 but I would not mind changing it out when the time comes (especially to a Compustar if possible)

for the compustar, if you use an ads-al-ca for convenience it will disarm/arm with the factory fob. Only through data though, but their datalink is solid, proven in the blade-al.If not use the GREEN CN14 additional sensor input. you can go to option 4-06 and 4-07 change it to option 3. that will allow negative arm/disarm, or choose option 4 for positive arm/disarm. just connect the 2 trigger wires from cn14 to the wires lock/unlock wires.

not sure about DEi products, don't install them that often

Sorry, its an 04 STI with no immobilizer so everything is connected the old fashioned way. I have actually been on the fence of switching it all out for a 2way Compustar and going with the Drone Mobiel; just haven't had that big push as of yet. But it looks like once I get the RFID Push-to-Start, I will get that big push... haha. And just to clarify, that is a disarm / arm INPUT so if I were to diode isolate the keyless entry from the Advanced Key system to the locks as well as the wires in CN14; it will allow me to arm/disarm the Compustar alarm through the PTS system? Also, if the system arms by the wired input (CN14), will it still allow me to disarm through the remote or will it get confused? Also, any idea if the 2 way will display correctly?

And finally, do you know if using those inputs trigger the locks from the Compustar? Basically if I were to connect the Advanced Key system directly to the CN14 Compustar inputs, will the locks still function?

Thanks for the help Ted. Everything I learn about Compustar seems to make it better and better... lol. I'll def. be waiting for the new CM7000 brain though (as long as it retains those inputs)

if you change the setting of 4-06/07 to option 3 it becomes a disarm/arm INPUT. If you wire it to the PTS it will also work, assuming you place diodes in line correctly. You can arm/disarm with the remote or through the CM14 connection. Either way the system will update the remote with the correct "status/state" example you arm it with the compustar remote which shows locked symbol. You unlock with the PTS prox key, the remote will show the unlock symbol. And the entire unit stays functional as if you were using the remotes. To your question, the lock/unlock still stays intact.

I have my cm6000 arm/disarm connected to the lock/unlock wires on my car. This allows me to disarm without the compustar remote. On top of that i have the trigger start connected to lock for a double pulse to start.

This feature is nice in the sense, anyone in my family can arm/disarm/start the car from my honda key. The only downside is the factory keyless is no longer functional. Sticking a key inside my door also arms/disarms the system. Great feature to setup.

Well I think I'm sold... haha. It sounds like it is exactly what I was looking for and it is definitely the push I needed. Just gotta get some cash together for the PTS system (around $350 for the AK-104B) and the Compustar 2 way SST (not sure how much that's going to run me yet... gotta talk to my distributor).

The real fun will be in removing the factory ignition switch and steering wheel lock, and finding a way to mount the PTS button in the factory ignition cylinder hole. I haven't even started looking into sizing differences yet, but I'm sure I'll make something work.

I'll make sure to take a bunch of pics when I actually get around to it. Should be a really slick setup when finished. Also going to have to try to find a place to hide all of the modules... thinking about taking a bit of the dash apart and really tucking them high up there since the OP500 uses the antenna wire for programming anyways.

One last question, and I could probably look it up, but I'm heading to bed pretty quick... does the Compustar have a turbo timer mode like the DEI? Or some sort of shorter run-time mode that is activated by using the activation input?

compustar does have a built in turbo timer, automatically keeps the car running for your desired set time. no need to activate through a wire.
just when you shut the car off it will keep the turbo timer running, to cool the turbo down the shut off. the required connections are ebrake and door trigger, which is mandatory anyways as its an alarm/start on a manual

Oh man even better.. haha. That was the one thing I didn't like about DEI; the turbo timer mode could only be activated by the activation wire or remote. If I don't need the turbo timer, I assume I can just hit the brake on my way out the door (or hold the brake when turning the key off) so its the best of both worlds.

you can turn off the timer at any given time through the remote as well.
