I was wondering if anyone could give some guidance on how to install a Viper 5101.

Recently i had purchased a Viper 5101 online for my 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 regular cab.

The problem is it has no instructions. I did locate some info on here but the info is vague.

Such as door locks .I did get them to work but it took a couple of different diagrams and resistors. Couldn't get the headlights to work

Pretty much what I am getting at is could someone give me color to color info with diagrams.
I had never installed 1 before so I could use a little help

Not one of the easiest vehicles to do for a novice.  Here is a link to Bulldog Security :

They have the wiring guide, special relay circuit diagrams and color pictures to assist you in the install.

Here is a link to the Viper 5101 Install Guide.  All Viper products are intended for professional
installation and this guide was written for them.    https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/file.asp?ID=830

You will need extra 30/40 Amp SPDT relays, resistors and possibly a transponder bypass module ( if
you have a Gray ignition key ).  A Digital Multi Meter and soldering gun will also come in very handy.

Soldering is fun!

Or go the more expensive but easier route and get a EVO-ALL with the Dodge harness, or the DEI CHALL and all of that resistor junk is taken care of.
