I'm in the process of replacing a viper 300esp with an avital 3300. Stuck at the door lock/unlock. DEI usually uses a 3 pin 2 wire (blue & green) for the lock/unlock. New one though is 3 wire (violet/black, BROWN / black, blue). Alarm is arming/disarming but is not doing the lock/unlock when using the existing green, blue wires that I already have wired to the stock actuators. Viper alarm was locking & unlocking fine. Am I missing something or do I need to re-wire the stock actuators?
Alarm is being installed in an 86 Porsche 944.
Where did you get the Avital? I'm showing the normal 3 pin, 2 wire lock/unlock harness on the manual I found for the 3300...

If it is the 3300L Then you should have 5 wires for the door locks (violet/black, blue/black, GREEN/ black, BROWN / black, WHITE/ black). If this is what you have, then it should be connected as follows:
Violet/Black - Door lock input - Chassis ground
Blue/Black - Lock output - Unlock wire in vehicle
GREEN/ Black - Unlock output - Lock wire in vehicle
BROWN / Black - Lock normally closed - no connection
WHITE/ Black - Lock normally closed - no connection
Here is the manual for the 3300L:

Looks like the version I have is the 3300L. Think I have it figured out though. Looks like this one has it'sonboard relay's different then others. The 3 pin harness (h3) which is horn honk, aux 3 & 2nd unlock. Looking like I need to wire up H2 which is a 7 wire harness.
Is channel 2 output enabled by default? I have it wired for trunk release and that isn't working, but I'm not too worried about that right now.
Thanks Kenny. That is what I needed.
How are things in Albany? Used to live in Clifton Park.
