Hello,
I'm installing the avital 2101L in my 1969 chevy truck. I have a painless wiring harness in it, so getting power to the unit isn't a problem. I have after market autoloc heavy duty two wire door lock actuators. The system works fine locking and unlocking, but I can't figure out how to hook it up for progressive locking. I have only hooked up the actuators so far, once I get the progressive locking working than I'll hoook up the rest of the options. Heres how I have it wired right now, red to 12volt+, GREEN/ black to actuator green wire, blue/black to actuator blue wire, WHITE/ black & BROWN / black to ground source, and violet/black pig tailed with violet to 12volt+. That wiring operated both door locks with no problems. I don't have interior door lock switches. How do I connect the smaller blue wire to use the progressive unlock.
THANKS
You would have to use a relay on the driver door actuator triggered by the 2nd unlock output
Pin 85 - 2nd unlock output
Pin 86 - 12v constant (fused at 20a)
Pin 87 - Ground
Pin 30 - blue/black out of the brain.

Thanks offroadzj. I'm not sure I understand your reply. My drivers door should unlock first and then on the second press of the key fob the passenger side should unlock. The system brain has built in relays. If I need a relay, don't I need to use the second door unlock trigger wire to switch the negative side of the relay for the passenger door. Also if anyone knows how to wire a essex ake-5 to this system, please let me know.
Thanks
