Can anyone tell me whether or not the CM6000 has non-volatile memory?  In other words, do the remotes need to be reprogrammed every time the battery dies or is disconnected?  I can't find anything in the documentation for the brain or the remotes pertaining to this.  Thanks

No conjectures, please..  Only chime in if you're sure, one way or the other.

the remotes do NOT need to reprogrammed if power is lost, or battery is disconnected for an extended period of time. The only issue is if it has a version 1-5 flash, it will hop into valet mode if the batt is disconnected (only when disarmed). If it was armed, it will stay armed even if power is removed and reapplied. With version 6.0+ it will not go into valet mode if disarmed.

I installed a compustar cm6000as and a dball on a 2007 jeep wrangler with a manual tranny. after install was complete and 1 channel remotes were programmed I tested it. All worked in reservation mode, jeep stayed running ,closed doors and jeep shut down and locked. When I tried to remote start it lights flashed, ignition turned on but started never kicked in.Double checked everything and quit for a couple of days. when I tried to test it again I could not get reservation mode to work, jeep would not stay running. help
