Trying to put a remote start in this vehicle but having some trouble. I'm sure the resistance is set properly and the bypass module powers up. The problem is the car will not crank. The ignition comes on and the unit send out 12v to the start wire but no cranking from the car.After that the car goes into lock-out mode. I've got ign1, ign2, acc, and start hooked up. There is however another wire(brown) that sems to be an accessory wire. Could this be the problem?

Kind of lost on your reply buddy. What exactly do you mean about the ignition control module under the hood, am I supposed to use the wire(s) there instead of at the dash. And what's that about the passlock being connected?
