1996 bmw 316i, door locks

Looking for BMW 316i (0r 318) austrlain model door unlock wire.
I have foudn teh lock wire is a positive signal to the whire red whire in the drivers door or in driver's foot well.
I heard the unlock wire is behind glove box but cannot find which one.
Please help

sorry model is 1996 for BMW 316i

Blue/red pin 17 POS in CPU behind the glove box left hand quadlock plug which should be yellow then pink around 96. Lock is pin 4 and if present it's WHITE/ red. Pin 4 is opposite pin 17.
Extend lock pulse for window/roof close, diode 1N4004 from lock wire to unlock, band to unlock, extended pulse will then also deadlock that vehicle on arming.

can you please have a look at the picture and tell me if i am looking at the correct yellow connector? This connector is leftish and at the front
The rows of pins do not appear to be opposite each other. There is a Blue red wire but it has a yellow dots on it as well.



On the right of that yellow plug I see

Not at all the first is carrying start and ignition info the second white plug, heater electrics, you're looking for a black box above that yellow plug. PM me with your email address, I'll send you the correct pictures.

can someone look at this circuit and please tell me if they can see a wire that will unlock the car with a positive (or any) signal?

Hello , Reading this site I assume my BMW 316i has a 3 wire positive door locking system.
My car wires show the following:
Thick white wire shows a 12 Volt reading momentarily when car is locked and then it reads zero.
WHITE/ green wire shows a 12 Volt momentary reading when car is unlocked and then sits at zero.

from the diagram above, if I connect two relays to send the momentary positive signals into the existing wires in the car door (Thick white wire will be the positive lock wire and WHITE/ green will be the positive unlock wire), will this effectively allow me to lock and unlock the doors using my alarm outputs?
If so, why does a positive signal placed directly into the WHITE/ green wire not cause the car to unlock?

my bmw has
a WHITE/ green wire that is momentarily 12V when doors are unlocking and then the wire sits at zero.
It was a Thick white wire that is 12 V momentarily when locking and then the wire sits at zero.
In the above diagram, can i just connect the left relay pin 30 to my positive lock thick white wire and the right relay pin 30 to my WHITE/ green wire?
If this is so, why does a momentary signal directly to these wires (positive signal), not cause any lock or unlock?

You're still barking up the wrong tree, since you appear to be looking now at the motor wires, white and one other colour, these rest at ground hence applying the above will blow your fuse at 87.
Find the other motor wire, and use the 5 wire method, or back to square 1 and look for the unlock wire, 5 minutes if you had a clue to what you were doing, I've already suggested you might have an earlier build in which case the processor might be on the right under dash.
