Hi all, I recently fitted a Clifford arrow 5.1 to my mk2 golf. It has manual locking doors. To add central locking to the Clifford system I know I need the relay which plugs into it, but just a bit confused about the actuators in the doors. It's a 2 door, so do I need one 5 wire actuator for driver and one 2 wire for passenger? Or both 2 or both 5? Thanks

Add one five wire to the driver's door and one two to the passenger door. More reliable*, also you will need two relays, see diagrams or a 451 from your dealer, does not plug directly into the Arrow, you need to wire it in.
Well made car and ridiculously easy to install, BUT mounting the motors or more accurately the linkage can be a PITA.**
*With 2 x 5 wire the micro switches unless aligned height wise with extreme accuracy will be working against each other..you install and then unlock, it locks! lock and it unlocks! Hence pros will only ever install one master (5 wire) motor.
**I used to open up an access hole on the linkage so I get get at the join properly.

Update to the previous.
Unless you're talking about a dedicated door lock with timer relay S-43, page 227 of Armour catalogue, get 2 x 2 wire motors, the Clifford (DEI) equipment has no provision for 5 wire motors.

Ok brilliant, ill get a 451 relay and 2 2xwire actuators.
Reading up on the illuminated entry for my car as well, seems fairly easy looking at the diagram (neg door switch), but lost as what relay i need to buy. can anyone point me in the right direction.
