I have my viper 5301 working. Everything works. I set the feature for auto trans when i first installed it. Today i wanted to go and change how long the engine runs when started with the remote. I turn the key on then off then hold the button in but nothing happens. I get no horn honk and the led just flashes once every second.Any ideas?

oh it's installed on a 2001 chevy silverado

Try pressing unlock on the remote before you enter programming
