Hi,
I just bought a new(used) Dodge pickup and it has a Code Alarm box installed in it. I have attached a picture of both sides of the box. I have no idea what it is. My truck came with only one key with a remote attached as part of the key. It appears to be original to the truck. If there is a remote for the code Alarm box I don't have it. Looking at all of the wires it is connected to it appears it could be a remote start box. I can't find a model number on it so I chant find out any info. Can someone help me identify it and better yet give me some clue what it is and how to get it working?
Thanks,
Jon

It's been years since I did any Code/Audiovox stuff. However, they make a piece that allows you to use the factory remote to remote start. The DEI systems I use tap into the lock leg of a door actuator...you hit lock 2 or 3 times within a few seconds and it activates. The Audiovox stuff I used to put in had a similar feature but you would hit lock/unlock/lock to activate. Give it a shot and see what happens.

No, unfortunately lock, unlock, lock does nothing but lock, unlock, lock. It was a nice try though.

From your pics, it looks like you only have the 24 pin connector on the top of the module. This appears to be the OEM Security module from Code.

lectricguy is correct. That module is also known as the CPLMM from Code alarm...it's an add on security system that does not come with it's own remotes.
