Customer has a Viper 4204 preinstalled into their vehicle and wants to add security to it, but wants to use the 4204's remote to do the entire job. Does anyone know of a way to make this work? The only possible way I've been thinking is to use the 4204's Factory arm/disarm or Lock/Unlock to trigger the sercurity system to arm and disarm (possibly needing a relay or 2), but I've never seen a security system with a way to arm and disarm without using it's key fob and antenna. Any suggestions besides ripping the entire thing out and making the security system's remote do everything and control the remote start? (Custy has not bought a security system yet)

Is there any product that works with existing remote, gets activated by the lock/unlock motor wires and lights?
We have them in Europe.
In other words an alarm system without an RF stage.

So how did he post? About 20% of the questions here can be answered with Mr. Google and Mr. Wiki's help.
Do you think we ever see an F Series, a Silverado a post 02 Maxi* or Camry* in Europe? I've done ONE Ram.
*Killed off by BMW, Mercedes and Audi.
Our own Ford Mondeo (Edge/Mazda 6) is outsold by the 3 series.
Actually that type of non-RF, switch on by the lock wires and lights was common for years in Europe using factory remote, nowadays there is a whole range of Europe only Clifford and Viper R/S compatible product working off the CAN system. Problem is this vehicle doesn't have a built in keyless so that idea won't work.
By the way Tommy you forgot Smartphones, what else do I do in a traffic jam?
