For mothers day I bought a Compustar 1 mile Remote Starter and alarm for my wife from the nearest Compustar pro dealer near me. Not sure which model the brain is but has the RF-P2W901-SS remote. I will be getting it installed by the dealer on May 11th. My wife's car is a 2002 Ford Explorer XLS 4 Door power windows and doors with factory keyless entry.

??? Can the trunk button be used to remotely turn on/off the headlights instead of the trunk? The secondary feature of that button is for rear defrost or power windows. Or do I have to use a different button?

??? It looks like this model year needs the GEM WAKE UP relay hooked up or does the BLADE take care of this?

??? I also found Falsing problems with After Market Alarms on select Fords Relay Diagram. Would this be necessary for this model year and install or not or will BLADE take care of that?

??? Some of the accessories I bought are DEI (Windows, Motion) and they are not DEI Authorized retailer, is it ok to mix and match or should I request Compustar?

??? As far as windows up and down goes do all 4 have to go up and down together or can i do fronts up down on one button and rear up and down on another button?

Thank You for all of your help and advice?
Sincerely,
Ken

Also
??? Is the Ford Keyless entry a module that can be removed from this car or is it permanently installed in the car? Thank You again.
Ken
