Hi Everyone

I Have a 2008 Ford F350 that has never had a Keyfob  to open the doors since day One .Not sure if the SJB even has a reciver in it.

If i was to Buy a Keyfob  could i possibly reprogram the SJB to receive the Signal from the Keyfob or would i need to replace the SJB completly and a new keyfob.

I do Have a Completly Updated IDS system which can do the Programing . Just wonder because if it was just  buying a couple keyfobs and flashing The SJB thats alot less Bull.

to find out if your truck will work with a factory fob, your truck will go into the fob programming mode as shown in this youtibe video. if you do his sugggetstion and your locks dont respond (letting you know its rady to receive the remote signal), then you would have to add a factory or aftermarket system.

BUT!! before you try it, make sure your read and understand all the responses people have left reguarding this.

some cant get their ignition key to always turn after programming fobs. i think its because once you lock the truck with the fob, it also sets the ignition to a security locked mode until unlocked by the fob signal.
