Hey I have a 2371 Autostart unit and i want to install a GSM unit to start my car remotely via cellphone.

I have been looking at both the GSM-Auto module and the GSM-Relay unit on Ebay.

Is there a way to connect relay output to pulse some input wires on the Autostart unit?

I don't want to wreck the keyfob to use it's contacts?

If i was looking at the correct manual you should have a purple wire on the 12 pin harness which is an external trigger wire. The gsm relay works well, you just have to make sure to get a quad band sim card to make it work.

Purple wire may be okay but I think that says its an output.

Is this for triggering a start?

Sorry but I have conflicting wiring schematics

One drawing v.2.01 says: 9-Purple (-)EXT.TRIGGER input

Other Drg. v.0.06 says: 9-Purple (-)EXT.TRIGGER output

No it didn't start. I believe it is disabled from the factory. Need to find out how to program this feature to work.
