I bought a 2003 Trailblazer with a keyless entry. I removed the 211hv and found a directed module. There are no identifying characteristics on the module other than directed.
The power and ground were connected, along with the dataport wire and the door lock wires. There is a red LED light on it also.
The main harness has 9 pins with the 3 pin door lock wire harness.
I know its some sort of doorlock module. I can't install it without the manual and I can't find the module if I don't know what model number it is.
It's not the 455L, 456L or 497. My local shops are all dumb-founded.

my very first thought was that its a 457gw doorlock and bypass module. or maybe some sort of zone expander because dei uses the RED / white wire almost exclusively for some sort of accessory channel like a trunk or hatch pop.
do you see any other evidence in the car that something else other than power and ground were connected? has the purple wire at the OBD connector been tapped?

it dont look like dei... it looks like a prestige item.

If your system moves you physically and not emotionally, you have wasted your money.
That is a 456G 12 wire. There were 2 456G's, 12 and 8 wire. The wiring is identical,

It's supposed to be for full sized trucks and does locks only. The following is from DEI's site....
The 456G interfaces with specific GM full-size truck and SUV vehicles. It converts the signals from the keyless
entry, alarm, or remote start into signals that can be understood by the vehicles factory Data Bus system. This
allows for interfacing with various factory options such as factory alarms or driver's priority. The 456G also allows
for smart dome light integration on some vehicle platforms.

I'm not finding a manual online so I can install this. I know power, ground and the data wire. How do I program it? Anything else need to be connected to work with a 560xv
NOTE: Unit comes programmed in keyless mode.
For non-keyless entry vehicles:
NOTE: Use this procedure (steps 1–4) if the vehicle does NOT have factory keyless remotes, otherwise go to step 5.
1. Connect the power, ground, and data wires before inserting the harness into the module.
2. Ground the RED / WHITE wire then insert the harness into the 456G module.
3. The door locks will cycle once for confirmation.
4. Disconnect the RED / WHITE lock input wire and tape the end of the wire.
For keyless entry
5. Connect the power, ground, and data wires before inserting the harness into the module.
6. Ground the BLUE status input wire, then insert the harness into the module.
7. Door locks will cycle twice for confirmation.
8. Disconnect the BLUE status input wire, and then connect it to the remote start output of the security system.
The 456G will perform driver’s door priority when in keyless mode. The first pulse on the unlock wire will unlock the driver’s door and an
additional pulse within five seconds will unlock the other doors. If driver’s door priority is not desired, this can be done by switching the
alarm to double pulse unlock or us the BLUE/WHITE wire for all door unlock. Unfortunately, non-keyless models do not have the driver’s

Module programs. Can't.get the door locks to work off the alarm. I think the alarm needs a relay. The alarm is a 560xv.
Any suggestions?
So you are saying that if you give a ground pulse to the blue or green the locks work? If so, relays would do it but you might try dioding the wires. It could be the positive pulse from the opposite lock wire at the same time is interfering...

With the blue and green wires hooked up from the alarm to the module, after the module programs the locks cycle no problems. Off the alarm, the locks will lock on arm, but will not unlock on disarm.
The 560xv manual says both lock and unlock are + and -.
I haven't fiddled with relays in a long time but I know I may need some
Any suggestions on how to wire them?
Try making sure the module is working correctly first. Tap the blue unlock wire to ground and see if they unlock. This will let you know the module is working correctly. Next would be to make sure the alarm has output, use a DVM and check.
Also, the base model doesn't have priority unlock. In this case a single pulse may not unlock anything. You may need to give it 2 pulses to unlock link the directions say. You can test that also by tapping the blue to ground twice....

Module works fine. Lock wire off alarm has 12 volts all the time, whether.lock or unlock, unlock wire doesn't do anything....no power or ground from alarm...
