I have installed a Crimestopper CS200 in a 99 Mercury Cougar.  Everything works except when i start the car, the allarm will still passively arm itself, and i can't program the unit to only be actively armed to bypass it arming w/ the car on.  I suspect it has something to do with the unit not detecting to switched 12volt lead.  I have tested the lead, and it only has power when in the "on" or "start" position.  If anyone has any other ideas or know the remedy for this, PLEASE HELP!  BTW...this does have a factory alarm, but that doesn't seem to have anything to do with it!

Ignition 12 volts GREEN IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
check to alarm wire that is switched 12v abd see if the power is getting back to the unit
