hi everybody im new here, and i was wonder if you all can help me out here. i got this manual for my alarm https://www.directeddealers.com/manuals/IG/Viper/N5702V_2008_08web.pdf
looking at the manual, im wondering a few things
1
the dome light, my factory car control turns on the light when i open de truck, and turn off when i lock the truck, can this be done with the viper 5901. the wire is H1/9 BLACK/ White
2
i notice that de aux harness H2. wire H2/6 2nd Unlock Output is to open 1 door and then the others right? i found this great cause the truck oem is like that. but what wire is the 1st unlock ???
3
when you tell me where is the 1st unlock (lol) i connect the 1st unlock to the driver side door and the 2nd unlock to the others?
thanks a lot, if anyone has the time, or a tutorial for dummies would be great

Your dome light should work in exactly the same way with the alarm R/S which is a Viper 5901 by the way.
I'm about to post your Vehicle specific instructions, look in the Downloads/Manuals section, top of this page.
As for the priority (2nd or two stage unlock), look at this diagram, you will need a standard 5 pin Bosch/Tycho auto relay and a 1N4004 diode.
Do NOT attempt to do this without the diode. Without the diode you will fry the R/S brain.
Here's the diagram:- 2nd_unlock_with_low_outputs.bmp------------- Amateurs assume, don't test and have problems; pros test first. I am not a free install service.
Read the installation manual, do a search here or online for your vehicle wiring before posting.

I just realised that with the older 5901 you will need 3 diodes, later instructions mention this, I've revised the diagram, look at it now:- Z25_2nd_unlock_with_low_outputs.bmp------------- Amateurs assume, don't test and have problems; pros test first. I am not a free install service.

Yes, that's the correct installation guide.
If the colours don't appear to match TEST. Don't assume.
Looking at the relay photo WTH kind of wrong sized connectors are they?
I said earlier you WON'T need domelight supervision.
You will also need to look at DEI techtip 1691 on Ford door triggers.

Dome light supervision won't turn it off, it's only for vehicles which UNLIKE yours don't have a delayed dome light shutdown, hence it's irrelevant to your vehicle.
Your domelight should shut down when you lock the vehicle.
Those connectors are
a) Much too big for the wire size.
b) You haven't crimped them properly, the insulation should also be crimped.
I feel you don't understand quite what's involved here and should seek professional help.

a ok thanks a lot for the explanation, i tried so seek professional help and they charge me 160USD to install the alarm but with no remote start, and the trigger they connected to the domelight +, worst installer ever, here in chile theres nobody to help me out, so i take my own experience hand (lol) and tried to install the alarm.
sorry for the laim questions, and for my english i tried to be more specific. now im connecting the door trigger with 1amp diode.
other thing that doesnt work is the remote start, i got everything connected right with kill start, and when a press the control for remote start the contro shows remote start error. please some feedback
and other thing, since my alarm is de 5901 im using the manual for LC3 Responder, and doesnt show the 2nd unlock feature, just show aux 4 where the 5901v has the 2nd unlock, can i use this? just wondering.
on more thing. sorry for all the trouble
the factory unlock and lock system where is located? i want to tried to connect the H2/1 LIGHT GREEN/ BLACK (-) 200mA OEM ALARM DISARM OUTPUT and H2/3 GREEN / WHITE (-) 200mA OEM ALARM ARM OUTPUT
to see if this control the original system. can be done?
thanks a lot..................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ------------- Tomas Smith Fernandez

You need to follow that vehicle specific diagram more carefully, also try looking up Ford door triggers, DEI tech tip 1691 NOT 1076 for how to wire the door triggers, dome light is wrong.
As for the locks, type B is your type and again as my first sentence.
3 reasons for no remote start.
Immobiliser by-pass needed Fortin, Xpresskit etc.
You haven't programmed TACH.
Your vehicle is auto and the factory default is manual, again programming.

Notrhing, you've discovered the joys of Ford NO door triggers, hence the diagrams particularly 1921.
Current Fords and Mazdas are ground, i.e. NC when closed NO when opened exactly the opposite of all other door triggers. Great, not exactly a good choice for a beginner. Please check through the various archive posts here on these vehicles, all these problems you're finding HAVE come up before, I'm about 10,000 miles away so difficult to help, that apart we never see these vehicles in Europe anyway.

looking by the manual viper 5901, i found this. this would work really?????
13. Door Switch Type
1. Normally Open: for vehicles with door switches that rest at ground when the door is OPEN
2. Normally Closed: for vehicles with door switches that rest at ground when the door is CLOSED

Sorry, of course it well. The fix was for earlier versions, also if the vehicle spec sheet says nothing about factory alarm then the answer is in one of those Tech Tips I mentioned yesterday.

ok i manage to config the alarm for work BUT (there´s always a BUT), i got connected 4 door triggers, when i open one nothing happens, when i open the all four doors the triggers works, this is completely normal cause all the doors that are closed keep sending the negative pulse, i make some research and by relay you can convert the 1 negative input of the alarm into four independent, but how can i do this? anybody has a diagram for this? thanks a lot

Is the F150 an Automatic transmission vehicle? Is the Viper still in Manual Transmission Mode?
Did you connect the Neutral Safety wire?
Did you plug in the Neutral Safety Switch and set it to ON?
Which "Engine Checking Mode" are you using?
Can you list your H3 harness to vehicle connections?
There are Shutdown Diagnostics that should help define the problem. What do they indicate? ------------- Soldering is fun!
