Well i swapped my battery and my viper 5901 stopped working. It is still getting power just my remote wont connect with it. So I tried reprogramming it (key to on position, press the button once then press and hold for chirp .. go into program menu on remote waited ... hit lock) nothing happened. I previously had this problem and disconnected the negative terminal from the battery so I this and waited for 5 minutes and still nothing. Any advice? Am i trying to program the remote wrong? Both remotes (two way and one way) do not work.

Did you try unplugging and plugging the antenna ? I've had this work on other Dei models
