Hey quick questions guys

Im gonna fit a viper alarm and immbolizer to my car soon. this alarm doesnt come with the engine start feature.

im brain storming ideas to get this to work.

my idea is. a standard relay wired like this.

30 - B+ ( link between 30 and 86)

85 - Earth ( which is connected to alarm aux output)

86 - Ign (link between 86 and 30 )

87 - start motor (start wire, starter motor side)

please let me know what u think?

Buy a Viper R/S to go with your alarm, much safer.
Google Viper products to find an R/S controlled by their alarms.

Simple..no safety cut outs such as hood switch over-revving, wrong person hot wiring. This comes up every couple of months and gets blown away, it's too impractical. Cheaper to buy an add on as mentioned before.
You're becoming the daft question specialist aren't you.

The problem is you keep coming up with ideas that simply won't work without a lot of time, trouble and expense.
They've all been done to death before, check the archives and simply won't work as well as a (relatively) cheap add-on such as the Avital I mentioned some time ago.

The 1900G is simply a range extender for existing GM factory/dealer installed remote starts.
It isn't compatible with your Viper 460/80XV.

And what was the relevance if any to body control modules?
