I'm looking to add a Alarm to my truck.
I have factory key-less and remote start remote built in to the key already.
I'm just looking to add door triggers and shock sensing to the truck. Don't need 2way,aux triggers, ect, and don't really want to carry a second remote. Without going thru a full aftermarket viper,ect install, is there and good oem add-on unit I could add to the truck? Back in the day I use to use a DEI Hornet 727T for such purposes, is there anything better out now?

You could use something like an Avital 3001 OEM Security upgrade that works with your existing factory keyless remotes.
