The car battery in our 2009 Nissan Xterra went bad so I replaced it the other day.

Since then the aftermarket alarm system intermittently sounds (albeit quietly, which is weird) while the vehicle is in motion.

The vehicle has a Viper alarm system, installed by Best Buy. Best Buy claims they cannot take it in until the 10th to troubleshoot it. Is there nothing we can do to try to fix this ourselves asap?

sounds like the system has a bad ground
check that there are no loose wires near the battery
