Hi,

I have an Python 991 installed on a manual transmission car. It has a glass sensor and a external shock sensor. I believe how this system works is the built in shock sensor is STG1 and the external shock sensor is STG2/Full trigger.

Problem: Everytime I arm the car, within 2-5 minutes, the warn-away would ALWAYS trigger. I tried adjusting the sensitivity and it does not change anything whether it is set at 0 or 15.

I am wondering if anyone can help me out. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

Adding additional info: Car is a 2011 Subaru Impreza 5sp. Also, to my knowledge, all other functions are working correctly. I just dont know what is causing this false trigger everytime I arm the car. Happens even if the car is in an isolated area.

Have you verified if the false trigger occurs when you plug out the off board shock sensor?

Yes. This happens even without that offboard shock sensor.

bump.

Does anyone have any ideas?? I disconnected the external stock sensor and the stage 1 trigger is still going off randomly after I arm the system each time.

Have you pulled the glass break as well then with your owners manual, done a diagnostic check?

-------------
Amateurs assume, don't test and have problems; pros test first. I am not a free install service.
Read the installation manual, do a search here or online for your vehicle wiring before posting.

Are they the only external sensors?
If there's an internal shock, turn it down.

have you tried sitting inside the car and waiting for the warm away to happen? maybe its some function of the car that is making vibrations after you turn the car off.

Just tried it hoping I find something. I sat in there for 4 minutes (not moving) dead silence..... then the warn-away triggers. I did not hear anything nor feel anything. No idea what is causing the trigger. =(
