Can someone tell me whether I can use DBALL bypass module for 2012 Honda CRV?  Is it about the same with 2011 models?

Honda changes their vehicles every 4 years.  Was it advertized as all new for 2012?

Here is the info on the DB-All from their Forum:

If you have a login in Xpresskit.com and select 2012 Honda CRV, you will see the Honda56 version 1.27 (and allow you to download to use it, it works)

If you don't have a login, use Honda56 version 1.20 (the current firmware). AND go see the vehicle VIN and look at the fifth digit from the left. If you have the letter "M", this version will disarm and left the driver's door unlocked at remote start. Just program the lock after start. No big deal.

Follow the DB-All guide to the 2012 civic I uploaded to this site. Its in the download link above. Search "2012 Civic"

*EDIT - I mislabeled it 2012 Civic, but its the install guide for the 2012 CRV. Still do the search for 2012 civic because I don't think I can relabel it...

Cannot speak for dball but for flcan there have been reports in flashlogic boards of installers flashing it for 2011. It got them around the key but they hade to hardwire everything else to the vehicle

I haven't done a 2012 yet myself, this is what I got from their Forum. I do know that other people commented on how the Pin numbers were the same as the CIVIC, that why I mislabeled the uploaded PDF by accident. I did actually compare the CRV and the CIVIC. Wiring wise they are exactly the same, Pin locations were dead on. Wire colors were different though. Then as I read threw the Forum, somebody had posted that PDF of the CRV with the the pin numbers and CRV wiring colors. I'm glad you are testing your wires! Just double check pin numbers versus colors....Thats the most help i can be...

These cars are relatively easy, and I don't see how an all-in-one bypass like a DB-ALL, FLCAN, or anything like that is worth all the extra money. I'm pretty sure you'd still have to hardwire the doorlocks anyway.

I use the Fortin HONDA-SL-3. It only costs around twice as much as a simple key-in-the-box bypass, and does the immobilizer on all 2012 Hondas with no problem.

Then just hardwire your locks, arm/disarm, brake, and done.

Also be aware that these cars won't work properly in voltage sensing mode---the 2012 Civic and CR-V have a new alternator that doesn't run at high voltage all the time. If you do a remote starter with voltage sensing, it'll probably come back.

I use the Audiovox Pursuit PRO-9056C which has a so-called "Hybrid Mode," where it just cranks the starter, leaves the ignition on, and ignores the voltage level. Similar to the "engine checking off" setting in DEI products.

If you can't do that, hook up tach under the hood.
