I'm installing the 5704 in my 2002 toyota tacoma. I'm also installing door lock actuators 524t. Manual everything. Here are the questions
I do not intend to use the remote start, do i need the harness?
My door locks are not pulsing negative anything? Any ideas? Yes im using relays. Yes im talking about the 3 pin 2 wire one blue one green.
Does the hood need to be shut to go into menu mode?
Thanks
Thomas

without the remote start harness, you wont have an ignition sense for the alarm and i believe the starter kill is built into that harness.

Door open not hood OR green door trigger wire grounded to enter the menu.
Pink to ignition 1.
Cut starter lead.
Green to key side and violet (purple) to starter side.
Does the 514L come as a kit with it's own relay?
If not the default wiring is NEG (-) lock and unlock, green and blue, going to relays wired as "add actuators" see the relay section on this site.

Also, you can't enter menus (program mode) unless that pink is connected.

Like this,fused at 15amps for 2 motors, 30 for 4 motors.
You will need those diodes:- add_actuators.bmp------------- Amateurs assume, don't test and have problems; pros test first. I am not a free install service.

Good chance that you will fry the 5704.

I unconnected the pink and it worked fine.
So here are a couple of new questions, i did the relays exactly like the picture. When i connect the fused power it blows. I did a bit of testing. I removed everythign besides 86 and 87 hot leads. Then i connected the ground to 87a and it blows. I tested the relay and it works fine. But the ground and power should be touching at rest should they. This happens with both relays.
My other question is my stinger dual stage shcok sensor. I just plug it in right? or do i have to connect the loose green wire to something else?

Nvm on the relays, there are two 87"s for some reason, no 87a, so when the relay switched is powers both pins
