Question 1: I've installed the car alarm. (Prostar Gold) To lock and unlock the doors Prostar Gold alarm is using the (-) output. The car is using (+) I've used two relays... one for lock (without resistor), and one for unlock (2000 ohm resistor). So, they work fine. But I have problem with turning "on" and "off" the alarm. It has (+) input for arming and disarming original car alarm. When I connect same cables, which I'm using for lock/unlock to original car alarm disarm/arm cable, turning off the alarm works fine, but it is doesn't turn the alarm "on" and impossible to unlock the doors using the regular key. Looks like the door lock engine always under the voltage. How to connect everything correct?

Looks like some more relays...

Here is some info from DEI :
Factory Alarm Arm Light GREEN/ Orange  (+)     Connector C4, Pin 4 @ BCM
Factory Alarm Disarm        same wire

Arm is positive trigger thru a 1800 ohm resistor, disarm is positive thru a 750 ohm resistor. Must use relays.

The BCM is attached to the fuse/relay box at the end of the dash on the driver side. Connector C4 is a 26 pin plug on the
bottom edge of the BCM.

Soldering is fun!

Hasn't this question come up recently?
This vehicle being the only one with POS lock triggers?

Yes, one of the more unique vehicles to deal with.  Sedan, coupe and convertible all slightly different.

Hi!
The problem is: I'm using 2 Relays for lock and unlock the doors, when I unplugging these relays from doors lock/unlock cable and connecting to OEM alarm arm/disarm cable, the alarm is arming and disarming. So what can I do? Should I use 4 relays? (2 for lock/unlock and 2 for arm/disarm) or may be exist any more simple way?

My alarm diagram:

And one more question... where I have to connect blue cable from bypass module?

Kregg gave you the answer.
Pink wire aux 3 "Ground When Running", lower right in the picture.
Looking at that diagram you've two sets of lock/unlock outputs, you will only need relays on the bottom two, the top pair say "10amps".

Doesn't connecting to the pair Kregg listed give you lock/unlock as well as arm/disarm?
Sure I've done it that way on a Ram.

Not Gray cable in "6P" wire Connector? (Should I connect it to ORANGE wire of the Bypass module?

Yes! But I have to use this pair of wires for two purposes: 1: Lock/Unlock. 2: Arm/Disarm. I can use them for 1 puprose or for second, but not for both. They don't work correctly. This is my main problem. I can use 4 Relays, but may be easier way?

They won't work correctly. (My first message.)

No, you're looking for a ground when running (pink)and it goes to the blue on the by-pass.
The method I used on the RAM, I went to factory arm and disarm rather than lock/unlock, set fro double pulse lock and unlock.
I ignored the lock unlock wires.
Mind you being a Prostart and it mentions engine oil pressure switch for tach I wouldn't go near that product.

No! I'm talking about Gray cable in 6P!!! connector, not in 13P!

With Bypass Module everything is fine. For alarm nad locks I will use 4 relays. I don't see any other ways. I've tried many combinations... doesn't work anything. Now I will go and try 4 relays.

test the wires at the dome light to find which wire controls the dome light and then follow that wire for as long as you can.

Funny the photo shows the pink as GWR which is what you connect the by-pass to.

My apologies we're BOTH right they just explain it badly.
Aux output isn't a by-pass a buy-pass lead by definition goes to ground when remote start is first activated, that should be the pink.

Correct! Both wires works fine with Bypass Module.

May be somebody knows which wire in which connector turning on the Dome Light? I think to start tomorrow morning and I don't want to search correct cable. (Too many wires inside.) I need (+) output from Dome Light.

1) What turns on the factory alarm, key in driver's door or factory remote fob? If so you don't need to worry about it, just don't turn it on.
2) When you say dome light are you talking about door triggers or dome supervision because that unit doesn't appear to have any!
I've given you a diagram for picking up the door triggers, also in that diagram, how to turn off the factory alarm, (see above) you need a DEI 528t timer module for this.
This is where you begin to realise that a cheapo without these facilities starts to cost you more if it even works. DEI, Compustar, Audiovox all have these facilities built in.

By the way, the dome trigger is NEG (-) not POS (+) as you posted.

On the fuse box on the driver's side of the dash, you should see a small (3- or 4-wire) connector, in black braiding material, coming out of the fuse box on the same side as the fuses.

You can then pretty clearly see that this cable goes up the driver's A-pillar and to the domelight.

Thank You! I found it... it is minus cable. (Again Relay (((((( )

Thank You! I've used a different way... 4 Relays. 2 for Lock/Unlock and 2 for Arm/Disarm. Now, when I locking the car, OEM alarm is turning on, when I'm unlocking the car, OEM alarm is turning off. Everything works fine. Exactly as I want. Only one problem - proximity doesn't work correctly. Car should unlock the door, when I'm coming close to it, without pressing the Unlock button, but it is doesn't do that.

This was a first step of car alarm installation...

Second step... According to picture, I've connect to sensors to alarm: Shock sensor and Ultrasonic sensor...

But I want to use another sensors (Microwave sensors). And here I have 2 problems: 1.Does my alarm has "PREWARM" function? 2. Is it possible to connect 4 sensors at a time?
