I installed a remote start in my 2002 Nissan Altima 2.5, manual trans. How can I bypass the security permanently so that I can use my non security keys when? I have heard about wrapping a key and leaving it under the dash, is this something that I can do?

Is there a red section on the end of the key holder?
If you remove this the chip is in it.
This chip can then be secured with acrylic glue to the top of the plastic antenna cover around the ignition switch after testing the position to make sure it works.

Amateurs assume, don't test and have problems; pros test first. I am not a free install service.
Read the installation manual, do a search here or online for your vehicle wiring before posting.
