I have a DEI 530t window module. On my remote, I have an extra channel that I hooked up to the 530t to control the windows. From that button on my remote, I can either vent the windows, or open them fully. Now...when I lock (arm) the car, the windows roll all the way up. If I don't want the windows to shut when I arm the car, though, I can just hit the Channel 2 button on my remote, and they'll stay down when I arm.
Oh, and if I ever roll the windows down from a distance, but then want them back up....I can just disarm and then rearm again, and they'll roll up.
Did I just confuse you? :-) Write back if you don't get it.

hey skip....hmmm, not sure about the maxima. I'm sure someone on here knows if you have an extra channel or not. I guess you could also call a dealer (or drive to one) and try to find out.
Even if you didn't have an extra channel, you could still have the windows roll up when you arm the car. I guess you could hookup to the door lock/unlock wires, and it could roll the windows up when you lock the car.
Let's see what someone says about the extra channel.
