Where is the Omega site for wire info?  Do you have to be a dealer?  Just wondering.

you cant use a wire on the HVAC controls like i did for my 2004 grand cherokee for defrost?

as for the purple wire, there is none, the information is not up to date or they changed something in 2010 models...

The DB-ALL supplies that info to the remote starter ( via D2D or W2W (if the wires are connected properly) ).

Probably would be helpfull to know exactly which DEI remote starter you have, what firmware is
flashed on the DB-ALL and which mode ( D2D or W2W ) you are connected in.

Clifford 590.2x. Version is the 3.10 I think. Using th d2d cable as well. Thing works great only thing that Im no a fan of is the way they tell you to wire the lighs it's just triggering the flashers so when remote start is on they blink instead of stay steady on like my 04 did

You should be able to change the parking light output to constant, Menu 3, Item 12, Option 1

that is the default setting which i did not change. the wire they tell you to use seems to be activating the flasher not the running lamps, thats all, guess i could try the optional wiring to the relay under the hood but i dont feel like running another wire through the firewall, lol

Looks like you only need a door pin for RAP shutdown.  While the DB-ALL info says the Violet
wire is in the DKP, Omega says it's inside the door.  Did you check inside the door?  You could
use a DMM to see if the DB-ALL GREEN / WHITE wire at Pin 3 of the 12 Pin connector gives you the
(-) Door Pin signal you need.

You can always run a (-) Parking Light wire from the Clifford into the engine compartment fuse
box and connect to Pin 85 of the Jeeps' Parking Light relay.

thats what im asking what is RAP shutdown anyway. i know its remote accessory power, but when i open the door radio turns off like normal...i checked the door connector and there is no violet, there is plenty of multi colored purple wires in the huge harness under the carpet but nothing straight purple and none of them come or go to the door harness plugs... im thinking i dont even need to hook it up at this point

according to the instructions you do not need to hookup the green white while using D2D like im using... i think im good to go

ok guys, remote started the jeep this morning after the doors were locked for the night and it triggered my factory alarm. any ideas?

DB-ALL limitation?
While the ADS iDatalink bypass module for your Jeep has a separate Disarm input wire, it appears the DB-ALL doesn't.  Have you tried setting the Clifford
for Unlock before and Lock after start ( if possible )?  Can't do too much troubleshooting with D2D...

Perhaps a call to XPresskit is in order.

i emailed directed and the tech told me safe lock needs to be turned on in the alarm, going to try it tonight, he said menu 3 option 16, which i dont think they even list that high in the sheet that comes in the box... two honks is on, so default setting must be off for a single honk....

Here is it from the install guide.

Menu 3, Item 16.        Remote start Safelock
Off: the Door lock and Factory Alarm Re-arm outputs will maintain the current status (locked/un   locked) during remote start and after shut down
On: the 2. Door lock and Factory Alarm Re-arm outputs will arm/lock the vehicle during remote start and after shutdown

Let us know how it works out.

is the fuse box for defroster the one inside under the dash or under the hood?

Not sure.  Think it's the one under the dash from the "rear connector" description.

ok, went to clean up all the wires and decided since the CS at directed told me if i used the relay under the hood to trigger the parking lamps that they would not blink like using the hazards inside the cab area.... did that and soon as i touch the wires the oem relay sounds like a machine gun going off and the lights flicker. i tried going from constant to pulsed output but that makes not difference... i even tried to remove the fuse in the alarm brain, ugh......

well i unhooked the MUX wires coming from the DB ALL cause after reading instructions it says the jeep and commander are a (+) at the hazard switch and (-) at the relay under the hood which is weird cause they both only worked when the alarm brains fuse was on the (-) terminal.... seems to all be working normally now... i think because of my LED runing lamps in the front they don't blink with unlock and lock, but everything else does. i do have resistors in there so they are working properly i know that... but they take a second to turn on during running lamp features and the alarm blinks so fast that they dont have enough time to light up LOL
