Hi all,

I installed VIPER 350 plus, on driver's kick side. Just wondering if the only built-in shock sensor can cover the whole vehicle. Do I need to apply an add-on shock sensor on each corner of the vehicle? Say, if some one strike my car on the rear right, can the left front shock sensor catch that?

Thanks a lot!

Install it in the region of the centre console or even between the seats then adjust, it should then cover both sides easily.

Amateurs assume, don't test and have problems; pros test first. I am not a free install service.
Read the installation manual, do a search here or online for your vehicle wiring before posting.

Some will add a secondary shock sensor, but might lead to more falsing of the alarm. Howie's recommendation is accurate and some might do 2 shock sensors. Center Mount in Front and Rear. Some have done LF and RR. Sometimes you have to set the shock Sensor sensitivity too high to cover all the area of the vehicle. If it is Set too high(sensitivity), loud exhaust,Sound Systems,Semi's will false the alarm. Some vehicles will work just fine with one, as long as it is properly mounted. Sometimes hard against chassis or zip-tied to a Big wiring harness(Preferred Method). Install the unit, mount, adjust, Test. Might have to do that once or twice...posted_image
