Hi Guys
Im just looking for some further information on the above alarm in comparison to an arrow 5.1

They seem widely available in the uk now and specs are simular to the 5.1 but its half the price. Im just wondering if anyone can do a quick comparison, is there a valet switch and blue led ect?

Thanks

More features, inferior build quality and software.

So between the two would the arrow 5.1 be the better option?

I've just been onto the US trade website for DEI and can't find anything listed as a 310.0X.

Information seems scarce on them
Here's an eBay link https://www.ebay.ie/itm/Clifford-310-0X-Remote-Control-3100x-Car-Security-Alarm-System-/330699693710?pt=UK_Car_Accessories_Safety_Security&hash=item4cff3cde8e

I got "page no longer available".
2 points occur to me, do NOT buy anything like this from fleabay.
You get what you pay for from a reputable manufacturer.

I know what you mean with eBay but it was from a supposedly big UK installer so I presumed it would be safe enough, they have the above for 50, arrow 5.1 for 100 or else its a concept 650 for 200 all of which work out cheaper than buying direct from a dei distributor here in ireland by at least 100 quid each so its easy to see how eBay can rope you in so to speak.

FYI UK trade prices, Arrow, £60, 650 £130, all plus VAT and of course installation.
UK 650 Mkll* average installed price inc. VAT, £350-400
*650 is the only one I get involved with.

Thanks for the info howie

I wish the Irish prices were as good as those :) Its also a pity that thatcham certification ect means nothing/isnt required here either.

The alarm is only for a small jap import but a rare enough car none the less, maby I should not skimp and go all out with a 650mkII!

Just get the 650, still the best on the market.
