Is there anyway to disable the PATS on my truck I have a 2001 f150 Supercrew with a 5.4L engine that I just installed I've had to replace the ignition cylinder with 2 new keys  my problem is it will not turn over and i really need to get it started so if there a way to bypass or disable the PATS I would like to know.      jmk56

You can remover the chip in the key on those older ones by removing the little black plastic square spot next to the key blade. You may be able to just switch the chip from the old to new key. If not, remove the chip and glue it to the immobilizer ring to permanatly disable....
