I have been doing a little research on my planned installation of a smart start module. I have a 2006 grand cherokee. It seems that using a xpresskit DBALL with the T-harness, an avital 4103, and a smartstart module is impossible without connecting wire to wire because there are not enough D2D ports. Is this true? Is there any remote starter with 2 D2D ports that are able to be used with a smartstart module and just plug into the DBALL?

Can i connect the smartstart to the 4103 with the bitwriter port, and the 4103 to the dball with the d2d port, and the dball to the Chthd2 harness?

It seems like if you connect the smartstart to the dball, then your car needs a factory remote starter, is this true?

All you need is smart start and dBall flashed with RSR firmware. Press lock 3x on fact remote for remote start, or add smart start or rf antenna kit
