I had this module ads-tb (16) in my 2009 Honda Odyssey. Does anybody know if this module can be used in my 2012 Toyota sienna without smart key. Thanks
Yes, the ADS TB module can be used for a 2012 Toyota Sienna with the standard 80 bit key ( non-SmartKey ). However, it will need to be flashed with the correct firmware ( ADS TB TL4 ) as the firmware currently on the bypass module ( ADS TB HA ) and will not work for the Sienna. Two points to consider. Unless you have the special ADS USB cable and registered dealer access to the iDatalink restricted WEB site, you will need to find someone that does and is willing to flash your module. Second, different ADS TB connector wires are used for the Sienna install. Hopefully the ADS TB connector wasn't de-pinned or the wires cut too short to be re-used. ( You can always lengthen the wire by soldering on a similar gauge piece of wire.)
Also note that while the ADS TB module will only take care of the transponder bypass function, there are other modules ( and firmware ) that will do a whole lot more for you, making the install that much easier. As an example, the ADS AL-CA flashed with ADS AL(DL) TL4 firmware will do the transponder plus the locks, alarm, power sliding doors, hatch release and supply door / hatch / hood & Brake Pedal / EBrake status and a tach signal.

Soldering is fun!
Thanks for all the information. Yes I see one wire was cut short but still usable. Hopefully I can find someone here in Mississauga Canada that can flash for me. I saw another post that modules do more but don't these features already get wired up on the starter like door locks etc.
Try a BestBuy or local auto audio shop. Yes, depending on the vehicle, you can usually hardwire the locks, etc.
