hi my car is a 2005 cadillac cts i want to add the window rollup module(i have the 4 window up or down module)do i have to go to each window switch or can i go to the master 4 main switches in the drivers door?I just don't think it makes sense to go to each door.

I want the windows to roll up when i arm the system if they are in the down position and what wire from the alarm system controls this feature?

I believe you can do all 4 at the main switch. As for the up when armed, you want the ground out when running wire.

Yes, GWA not GWR.

sorry.... that's what I meant. In my defense, it was 10:00 at night, I had been up since 5:00 and it was a damn long and rough day at work... lol.

good news and bad news grrrr.
The good news is i now know what the GWA wire is(orange starter interrupt wire)
The bad news is i can't get all the windows at the main switch because i have window modules in each door. I have to run two wires to each up wires.

question,i was told that one 4 window module is too stressful for the module and the windows. How true is that? because i have to run my wires to each door. This darn cadillac. The plan is to mount the module in the drivers door then run wire to each of the other doors. No i can't use the drivers door main switch because it is controled buy the canbus.

module is OMEGA AU-93-4
car is 2005 cadillac cts

module has 4 built in relays if that helps any.

If your module has 4 relays, its either 4 windows up or 2 up/vent/down.
You will need two modules.
My last car, one in each kick-panel for each side and run into each motor in each door.
Now ask again what Kenny meant.

my module is either 4 up or 4 down, right now i just want all 4 windows to go up when i hit the arm button.
I know how to install it,but is it to stressful on the module and or the doors.

Although my module can do 4 windows is it better to just use it for only two?

Makes absolutely no difference except down is a touch easier, gravity assist.
