currently installing a compustar into a 2003 Camry, seems easy enough, however I have triple checked my wiring to the Fortin key overide all, and it all seems correct (quite simple). Even though I have not powered or programmed the module yet, when I plug in the 6 pin harness to the bypass module, I get a what sounds like a relay chattering in the engine compartement. Even though I have checked the wiring several times I am a little gun shy to proceed as per wiring diagram or apply power to the key overide all.

Any suggestions or insight would be appreciated.

I would have to say you have something wired incorrectly as it shouldn't do what you say. This is a V6 Camry? I believe they were the only ones needing a bypass back then...

Hi guys, really stuck here. Completed a r/s install on a 2003 Camry but found that after the install the air bag light continues to flash when the vehicle is started with the key Or the remote start. I have since disconnected the compustar module and reconnected the bypass wiring on the vehicle back to factory and it still flashes when started with the key.

Any suggestions at this point woulb be appreciated

Have you tried disconnecting the battery for a few minutes?

hey Mike, thanks for the reply. turns out I phoned the customer and he then told me the air bag light started flashing about 2 weeks ago. I never noticed it driving into the shop.

Lessoned learned, go back to testing everything on the vehicle before starting the install, notify client at that time.

 Thanks again for the replies

You're lucky to have an honest customer...... Some people would stick you with the repair since you didn't preCheck!!
