Hello everyone,
It has been a while, my 5901 is working awesome, accept for the fact I lost my keys with my 2-way remote. My alarm was armed, so when I grabbed my spare car key, there was no way of shutting off the alarm accept by unplugging the brain power. I have a one way remote but I never got around to pairing it to the brain which was really stupid of me.
Is there any way of deactivating the 5901 so I can pair my spare remote?
Thank you for any suggestions at all

Ignition on with key, press valet switch twice?

If the remote came with the unit new it came paired unless you deleted it.

Thanks Howie, a lot easier than pulling the harness on the unit, lol. The spare remote was not paired because my original 5901 brain was defective and the new brain was only paired with the 2 way remote. I got the spare working now. I was looking online for a new 2 way remote but they are more than I can afford right now. Thanks for the advice

Would it be an option for me to install the bluetooth smart start module. I have the i data link solo module installed on my 05 montana sv6. Do I just add on the smart start module to what i have. If it would be an option, what would be the range with bluetooth?

X 2 with Lurch, having said that if your vehicle is surrounded with others, less range.
