My remote is unable to hold a charge anymore so I opened it to inspect the battery which is a rechargeable and no replacement easily found. So I do some more investigating. With the charger plugged in I get voltage readings from the battery connections and the terminal connections where the battery plugs in. The fob screen only lights up when I push the "f" function button and it only stays on for 3 sec then shuts off. It does make a click sound when it shuts off.
Any ideas?

It won't turn on until the battery reaches a certain level of charge. If the battery is bad it won't get enuff charge to turn on.

Any authorized dealer should be able to order you one, they won't be cheap though.

You could try this one it's close to the original which is 4.0x20x23 and 130mah. This one is 3.5x20x25 and 140mah. The wires will have to be solderd to the old plug but it will work. If I find a better or closer match I'll post it.
