I have a 96 Chevrolet Cavalier.  I'm trying to install the ignition output or Anti-grind/starter disable output.  When I tapped into the wires, the anti-theft kicked in and didn't allow me to start the car.  I pulled the fuse and let it reset then reinstalled the fuse.  The car started after that (with the key).  How do I get around the anti-theft.  The installation manual says something about an "Anti-Theft/Transponder Module.  Do I need this or is there another way??  How do I install the ignitoin output to the alarm?

Yes you do need the transponder. Crimestoppers has them, so go back, tell what you have and get the right one for your make.   Chuckles
