I installed a prostart ct3271 and a db all. I've used the db all before with no problems. On this car, it has been flashed to the latest firmware and is hooked up d2d. The db all programs fine but will not r/s the car. When attempting to r/s, the db all just flashes green. Install guide says ground while running status on??? gwr isn't needed in d2d mode so ???

I would try connecting the Ground While Running to see what happens, or disconnect the DB-ALL, put a key in the ignition and see if the car will remote start with a key in the barrel. Just my thoughts. ------------- When all else fails, Read the Instructions

I've disconnected the dball and hooked up gwr, wired it w2w, reprogrammed, tried with key in barrel, done all that including checking and rechecking all connections with no luck. I'm gonna try a new r/s and see what happens, something is funny with it.

if it wont start with the key in the ignition then it is a wiring issue with your ignition harness. chryslers sometimes have a lot of wires that are the same color so i would go back and make sure nothing was mixed up and that everything is getting the power it needs, when it needs it. also make sure that you test all wires at the main ignition harness because sometimes the tech sheet will forget to mention wires that need to be hooked up. i say this because i had a multi-day ordeal with a 05 dodge neon when i was still learning and i couldnt get it to start. it turns out that directechs forgot to mention a 3rd ignition wire that was necessary to start the car. the only way i figured it out was by testing the entire ignition harness to see how each wire behaved.

Make sure any saftey wires from the remote start are hooked up like netural safty, hood pin if needed, and any switches that need to be hooked up and turned to on.

There were 2 ign wires that I know of, didn't help when they were both hooked up. All other wires were tried, both w2w and d2d. This damn thing has me stumped. I used to install these things on the side and this is the reason I quit. I had to put the car back together w/o the r/s for now, weekend is over and it is needed in the morning.
