So I install a Remot start on a 2004 Ford truc, the problem i got is that car starts then after 9seconds or so truck turns off then starts again then it turns off then on...I've use voltage sensing not a tach wire. If any one has had this issue any info. will be apreciated. Thaks

Sounds like a tach issue.

Yep, you need to use tach on diesel trucks. I have never seen one work on voltage sense.

Here is some additional info from DEI :

On diesel vehicles the tach wire is GREEN / WHITE in a 5 wire harness held up with white tape behind the
parking brake release. The tach wire on these vehicles may generate an unclean signal. Options maybe to
set the threshold jumper to “on/low“ when programming tach in some Directed remote systems or use part
number 454T tach signal generator.

Soldering is fun!

Not sure if you sorted this but I had this fault Go though the install manual again and double read each step for the Tach reading I was missing out some of it and didnt realise. Also Once you go that sorted dont forget the glow plug connection (wait to start) I had to use a relay to reverse the polarity.
