If you've connected your ignition, turn on the key as soon as you power it up.

Just power and ignition assuming you grounded it.

the red wire and green wire are lock and unlock. the extra RED / black wire is the 2nd unlock when you want to have the drivers door unlock first. red is lock and green is unlock

I'm assuming both are negetive outputs for this alarm

The avox units use a common ground for all internal relays and can cause some strange things when not all wires are connected properly (or left unconnected in this case). Best bet is to hook everything up, and once it is powered up correctly the issues will stop. posted_image

Make sense
One thing I found strange that I haven't seen on dei or compustar is that orange wire starter inhibiter what's that wire usually use for n do I need it for the remote starter?

Its a GWA. Goes to ground when armed funny you never noticed it, it's also orange on DEI and nearly every other regular brand except Comp where it's blue again marked as ground when armed pin 1 plug CN2.
Come to think of it I can't think of any alarm or alarm/RS sold in either North America or here in Europe that didn't have a GWA wire.

Just figured out the key sense has to be "hot" for the RS to work on '12 Santa Fe.

Which way do you guys recommend I energize the key sense (+) by relay or tap one of the input lines?

Use a relay and please, diode across 86 and 85, band to the hot side; also inline diode on your GWR wire before the relay, use 2 x 1N4004s.

Got everything hooked up now for some reason it won't start when i use the RS. Both Ign wres are hooked up, starter, accessory and key in sense. Verified all the wires and the starter wire puts out 12V when its starting but the starter doesn't kick over. OEM RS works fine so....any ideas?
