Installed R/S in an 2008 Tundra this weekend with a idatalink ADS TBSL KO. idatalink called for keysense to be a gray wire on the 7 pin connector at the immobilizer. This wire showed ground all the time, even with key out of ignition. DEI- expresskit and Fortin say it is on the 2 pin connector at the ignition. PIn 2 or wire NOT WHITE/ black. This wire never showed ground. Luckily Ready Remote actually showed a key sense wire at the BCM. There has to be a keysense wire up by the ignition though. Has anyone used a wire by the ignition, or do you just all go to the BCM.

On most Toyotas, the keysense is in a 2-pin connector and the correct one will test 12v until the key is inserted (or ground once the key is inserted).

Thanks shortcircuit161, i tested that wire and it sat at about 6-7 volts at all times with the key in or key out. Maybe my meter is acting funky. I will have to check again sometime. Thanks
